In order to insure that you have a risk- and worry-free experience when you purchase from us, we have put in place several guarantees for your protection. 1. All diamonds and colored gemstones come with a 10-day unconditional return guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason you may return it for a full refund of the purchase price. 2. Most diamonds are accompanied by only the most respected grading reports (certificates - certs) from either the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the American Gem Society (AGS). This insures you that the color, clarity, carat weight, and other characteristics of your diamond have been rigorously and accurately graded by standards recognized worldwide. 3. We do not sell clarity- or color-enhanced diamonds of any type! All our stones are natural in every respect, and cut to high standards. Therefore, you don't have to worry about being sold a laser-drilled, fracture-filled, high- pressure//high- temperature (HPHT) or irradiation color-enhanced diamond from us! 4. We restrict the color and clarity ranges of diamonds we sell. In most cases we accept diamonds with only the six top colors - from "D" to "I", and clarity grades from flawless (FL) through slightly included (SI2). 5. No state sales taxes are charged for sales outside the state of Iowa (5% is added to Iowa sales). NOTE: The purchaser is solely responsible for all out of state, federal or out-of-country taxes and/or duty which might apply. Dutton's Diamonds accepts no responsibility and bears no liability for any of these taxes.
We anticipate that you will be very pleased with your purchase from Dutton's Diamonds. Nevertheless, in the unlikely event that you should wish to return or exchange your purchase within the 10-day return guarantee period, please follow these steps carefully: 1. Call (1-877-358-7688) or e-mail (gary@duttonsdiamonds.com) us for a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and enter this number on both your shipping label and on the original invoice (you MUST return the original invoice). 2. Return all merchandise and contents in their original packaging. 3. Ship your return, insured for the full amount of the purchase price, by registered mail through the U.S. Postal Service. 4. NOTE: Altered or damaged merchandise, or merchandise not returned as instructed will not be accepted. Also, returns or exchanges cannot be accepted if shipped from outside the U.S. 5. Once satisfactory receipt of your returned merchandise is confirmed, you will be notified by e-mail or phone, and a refund for the full purchase price will be issued within five working days. 6. If you wish to exchange your purchase during the 10-day return guarantee period, call us (1-877-358-7688) to arrange return of the original merchandise (as in steps #1-3 above), and to select your alternative purchase. Upon receipt of the original merchandise, we will apply the full purchase price to your alternate selection. If the credited value of your original purchase exceeds that of your alternate selection, your refund will accompany the alternate selection. If the credited value of your original purchase is less than your alternate selection, then payment for the amount owed must accompany the returned merchandise.
